Spring is natures ways of saying “Let’s party!” - Robin Williams

Pen: Franklin-Christoph Pocket 40 14K Masuyama MCI nib
Ink: Robert Oster Tranquility
Paper: Stone Paper

This pen with this excellent Masuyama 14k nib remains my favorite. I like a bright, interesting ink and Tranquility fits the bill. Stone Paper seems to be the brand. My company has a small company store for employees with shirts, mugs, and some office supplies with the company logo. They sold notebooks made from this paper as part of a eco-friendly line. This one is not available anymore. The paper seems much better than the Origami Professional reviewed years ago by Brad Dowdy. I wish I knew where to get more.

April hath put a spirit of youth in everything. - William Shakesphere

Pen: Sheaffer Imperial
Ink: Aurora Black
Paper: Rhodia Le Carre

The original section on this pen had broken. Last year Martin Fergeson found me a replacement. I am gold to be using this vintage pen once again.

Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush. - Doug Larson

Pen: Kaweco Sport F nib
Ink: J. Herbin Diablo Menthe
Paper: Nock Co Dot Dash notecard

I was writing a letter in reply to someone and wanted to use various turquoise inks. I don’t consider this color to be really turquoise but it is close enough some might. I did use it in the letter, largely because this pen stays filled with this ink on my desk at home.

The April winds is magical,
And thrill our tuneful frames;
The garden walks are passional
To bachelors and dames. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Pen: Edison Nouveau Premiere 1.1 stub nib
Ink: Colorverse Schrodinger
Paper: Doane Paper grid+lines

One of my newer inks, the Colorverse Schrodinger, is part of a new line that is all the rage. Schrodinger is a very nice green. It comes with a smaller bottle of a blue named Cat. The name combination was irresistible to me. It works out because the inks are very nice.

Our spring has come at last with the soft laughter of April suns and shadow of April showers.

Pen: Franklin-Christoph 66 with 1.5 nib
Ink: Franklin-Christoph Sweet Maroon
Paper: Tomoe River Paper

I need to pick a bottle of this ink. The original eyedropper fill is finally running out. The 66 holds a lot of ink when eye droppered. Even with the 1.5 nib and being constantly on my desk, it has lasted almost a year.
